How stable of a career would you say being an author is?

neil-gaiman:

Try balancing a soft-boiled egg on its tip. Don’t use sand or salt, don’t crack the egg. Just balance it, and then take your finger away.

That stable.

New book! I have a new book out! It’s spicy hot and whimsically fun. Plz enjoy. :)

Today’s act of kindness? Put Some Patience in the Mix.

It’s easy to get caught up with the hustle and bustle of the holidays and forget to be patient. Patience is a form of kindness and, like all other forms of kindness, it’s contagious.

So the next time you’re waiting in line or someone snaps at you, respond with a smile. You never know how much a small act of kindness can change someone’s day or how much your kindness may inspire others. A kinder world does begin with you.

Check out our blog for a few other ideas on how to add patience to your holiday mix. And please accept this virtual hug from us! You are amazing.

P.S. Don’t forget to let us know how you’re celebrating our 12 Acts of Kindness. Tag us on Tumblr, FacebookTwitterInstagram, and Pinterest

I want more Sleepy Hollow on my dash. Tell me who to follow.

Still reconciling today’s language and its advancements.

This is a set of chocolates made to look (and somewhat act) like a set of paints. Alas, this limited-edition set is only available in Japan, and it’ll run you 4,200 yen (around $43 US).

That’s probably for the best, though, because I would refuse to ever actually eat something that perfect.
